I am going to New York!!!!
I'm leaving tomorrow! And I am SOOO excited! I'm going with my best friend for a week. It's going to be a week full of shopping, sightseeing and relaxing, I CAN'T WAIT!

In honor of my amazing up coming trip, I of course had to do some New York nails. I started with a base of OPI - Pink Friday, then I sponged on a sunset gradient using Astor - New Bohemian, Golden Rose Paris - 344, Linda Johansen - Spring Yellow and H&M - Super Red. I really love the effect the Golden Rose polish gives to this gradient. It's a translucent golden pink shimmer and it makes the sky glow!
I then painted the Manhattan skyline with black acrylic paint.
On my thumb I did the mandatory "I <3 NY" with black acrylic paint and H&M - Super Red over OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

ReplyDeleteAwesome skyline! I've just been in NY and had to do a NY mani as well :) I used BM-414 stamping plate - wouldn't manage the skyline by myself.

Btw, I found the best selection of Essie, ORLY and OPI at "Beauty 35" on 8th Ave between 35 and 36th Street :) Ricky's is also great (http://www.rickysnyc.com/ustorelocator/location/map/). Hope you've taken big bags for your shopping hauls :)
