Spring roses

Seems like I've been having a little unplanned hiatus! When I started this blog I promised myself I would never apologize for not  blogging, this is after all just a fun hobby. So I won't apologize for being away, I had a couple of rough weeks and simply didn't feel like doing my nails. What is worse I actually had four manicures photographed and ready to be edited and posted, but I just didn't feel like doing it. So I didn't! But here I am, and ready to show them to you :)

I did this manicure for the nailpolis spring nail art contest, I thought I would be too late to enter, but it seems like today is the last day to enter so I made it just in time! :) I have no chance at all of winning by votes, since I entered just in the nick of time, but if you'd like to vote for me for moral support, the link is here :)

 

I had a vision of painting roses on a linen canvas, and I think I succeeded! It turned out almost like I had imagined, and I'm pretty happy with it :)

I actually filmed a tutorial for this! But even though I haven't uploaded the footage to my computer and looked at it yet, I think it's pretty crappy and probably won't be published, lol :p
