KBShimmer - Snow Much Fun and Snow Flaking Away

KBShimmer - Snow Much Fun and Snow Flaking Away swatches

Ok, I realize this might be a little late, we are after all well into March and spring is right around the corner. But I struggled to get my hands on these gorgeous polishes and when I finally did about a month ago, I couldn't find the time to swatch and post. And I reaaallly want to show you these, even though you've probably seen them a million times already ;) I don't care, it's my blog and I'll swatch if I want to :p

A dark purple jelly base filled with holographic bars, hexes in different sizes and the most amazing of all, snowflakes! Application was easy, although I did have to fish for the snowflakes and place them on the nail. But fishing was not difficult and totally worth it, I mean, just look at it!

I used three coats for full opacity and maximum glitter depth, you could also layer it over a dark base if you's like less glitter but still full coverage.

The snowflakes are quite big, and if you have very curved nails like me, or very small, you'll probably find them sort of sticking out of the polish. It didn't bother me too much though, because I loved how gorgeous the polish looks ;)

This is a light blue jelly base packed with white hexes, circular and the awesome snowflake glitters! It's also filled with a soft holographic shimmer which makes it sparkle. Application was the same as Snow Flaking Away easy, but I had to fish for the snowflakes. I used three coats for this one as well.

Snow Much Fun was the first of KBShimmers winter 2013 collection I saw and knew I just had to have, I could not live without it! It's soo pretty and the snowflakes makes it feel so.. "wintery"? Lol :p

I am so glad I was finally able to get these polishes, they always sold out the second they were back in stock and I was "cartjacked" at two restocks before I finally got them :)
