Lucky Dip - Paisley nail art

All I knew was that I wanted to use OPI - Espresso Your Style, but I had no idea what to do with it, so I decided to try another Lucky Dip!

And I got "Paisley"... I had been dreading this, paisley nail art looks really cool, but oh so complicated! But the Lucky Dip said paisley, so paisley it is!

I went googling for some inspiration and came across this paisley pattern that I decided to try and translate to my nails.

I started with two coats of OPI - Espresso Your Style, such a gorgeous shade for fall! Then I painted the pattern using acrylic paints. I have to say, I'm quite pleased with myself! It's not perfect, and especially in these close up shots you can see all the mistakes, my shaky lines etc. But for a first try at paisley, I would say this is pretty good :)

I am am a huge fan of this color scheme, and I really love the pattern I chose for inspiration. So what do you think? Did I translate the pattern well to my nails?

    This is probably one of the my most favorite nail arts of yours <3 Gorgeous color combo and the design came out perfectly! I am dreading paisley patterns, but I gotta try it one day and after seeing this I got a lot of inspiration :) Great nails Lisa!
