Gold glitter gradient

I wanted something autumnal, dark blue and glamorous.

 

So I painted two coats of Essie - After School Boy Blazer, it was perfect in onec coat, but my nails were a bit "bumpy" and I decided to add a second. Unfortunately, this polish looks pretty much black on the nails... Don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous! But I wanted dark blue, not black :(

In the photo above it looks blue though, wish it looked like this all the time ;)

On my ring finger I painted two coats of OPI - Glitzerland. Then I sponged H&M - Stay Golden at the base of each blue nail and on my entire ring finger. I learned from this tutorial at Nail Wish, how make glitter polish cover the entire nail and while not ending up with a cm thick nail!

I finished it all with two coats of Poshé, I think I could have used a third on the ring finger, to smooth it out completely, it does feel a tiny bit bumpy to touch.

I loved wearing this simple, elegant, sparkly and dark manicure!
