I was completely out of inspiration for this one, and it shows! Lol!
I wanted to do a gradient, I wanted to use tape and I wanted to use pink and mint. But I did not want to do a taped off triangle gradient that everyone else is doing these days. I regret that decision.
Started out with a base of OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls (I've already ordered my second bottle), top coated it to speed up drying and cut tape with my craft scissors. Then I sponged using OPI - Pink Friday, Essie - Lapis Of Luxury and IsaDora - Pistachio.
I did not like how it turned out, so I tried to make it prettier by applying a coat of Dior - 010, which did help a little!
Even though I did not like this mani very much, I have to say, it actually looks better in pictures! Lol :p
And Dior - 010 is soooo gorgeous <3
Tried a new edit for these pictures... What do you think? I think I prefer my usual way... :)

ReplyDeleteNo, no, don't regret it at all! This turned out so pretty and out of the ordinary! I love the taped gradient you achieved! So feminine and yet very girly and fun as well because of the wavy taped pattern you chose! It's not a fail at all!! :D
