Day 14 of the Laid Back 31DC is stamping! Stamping was one of the first nail art techniques I ever tried, and I really like it! It's a quick and simple way to get pretty cool results!

The stamp is not perfect, I actually didn't notice that the stamp hadn't picked up properly until I started doing my other hand and it picked up perfectly... Oh well, it just looks a bit more.... rustic?

I got this polish on sale for NOK 29, regular priced OPIs are priced at like NOK 180. It didn't look too special in the bottle, but I'd seen a few swatches of it online, and it was cheap, so I picked it up. And boy am I glad! It looks AMAZING! Dark rich brown filled with shimmer that makes it look like it glows from within. And in sunlight, it's simply magical!

I would have liked to stamp with gold, but I don't have a gold polish that's good for stamping (oh, what an excellent reason to go shopping), so I went with silver. But it turned out better than I had expected, defenitely one of my favorite manicures, simple, elegant and a beautiful base :)
