I don't usually do swatches, I don't have the money to buy all the new collections, there are lots of others who do swatches incredibly well and, honestly, I prefer to do nail art ;) But today I got four of the polishes from the new Isadora's new textured polish collection Sugar Crush. I have not seen many swatches of them, and they are too beautiful to not be shown off! So today I'm actually bringing you a swatch post!! :-O
All these polishes are textured, the formula is great on every single one, application was easy and drying time just like you'd expect with textured polishes. They're dry and textured after about 20 minutes or less, but I'd still be careful for about an hour, depending on how much polish you apply. They are textured, but much less rough to the touch than the OPI liquid sands.
A little warning: I have six photos of each swatch, so this is a pretty picture heavy post ;)
Isadora - Ocean Crush is a blue and gold shimmer, I was not able to capture the gold shimmer in these photos, no matter how hard I tried, but believe me it's there and it looks amazing in real life! I used three coats for full opacity, two were ok but I could still see my smile line and decided to add a third coat.
This photo is in direct flash to try to show you how much it actually sparkles, just imagine gold and teal sparkles as well ;)
Isadora - Pink Crush is a rose pink polish with silver shimmer pink and silver hex glitters. I only needed two coats for full opacity. The hex glitters add an extra depth to this polish and sparkle so beautifully.
Above is a picture taken with direct flash to show the fantastic sparkle!
Isadora - Purple Crush is very much like Pink Crush, only it's a gorgeous dusty purple, it too is packed with silver shimmer and silver and light purple hex glitters. This one also needed two coats for full opacity.
Photo in direct flash.
Isadora - Coral Crush has the same look as Ocean Crush, only this has orange and gold shimmer. This also sparkles and shines of orange and gold, but luckily it was much easier to capture the gold in pictures than with Ocean Crush. The formula was also very much like Ocean Crush and I needed three coats for full opacity.
Photo in direct flash, notice the gorgeous gold shimmer!
I think Isadora did such an amazing job with this collection, the formula is great and the colors all look so fantastic. I'm glad they chose to go glitters and shimmers in their textured collection and not cremes, I'm not a fan of textured cremes!
These are only four of the 10 polishes in this collection, I want them all, but thankfully they only had six at the store and I was a good girl and only walked away with four ;)
So, what do you think? Which is your favorite?
And did I do an OK job with the swatches? ;)
These all look fantastic, but I loooove Ocean Crush <3
