KB Shimmer - Hex Appeal, this is my first glitter bomb indie nail polish. I won it through a nail art contest hosted by Kayla (or, I won a gift card, and bought this ;)), and it's amazeballs!!
It's a blue jelly with TONS of glitter in all shapes and sizes, mostlysilver, turquiose and magenta hexagons in different sizes, but also some tiny turquiose string glitters. It's so sparkly and pretty and I just wanna look at it all the time!
This is three easy coats, I did not have any problems getting enough glitter on my nails I could even have used only two coats, but I added a third for extra depth. Then, inspired by Lucy, I applied some striping tape making a large triangle on each of my nails and painted black with OPI - Lady In Black, finished it all with Poshé and added a stud at the base of each nail. My nails are now blinged out and ready for the weekend!
But what is up with this huge cuticle gap? I'm trying to make my gap smaller, every time I apply polish I think I'm pretty close, but I don't know if it might be when I clean up I remove too much polish, or if there is something seriously wrong with my eyes, cause the gap is always huge! :( I even cut my clean up brush smaller to see if that made any diffrence, guess I just need more practice...
I only got to finish one hand before I had to rush out the door, so now I need to finish my other hand before I go to bed, lol :p
This looks lovely!
