OPI - Fifty Shades Of Grey swatches

I am so excited to show you these swatches! Of the new OPI Fifty Shades Of Grey collection! Not that I'm a fan of the books, I read them because everyone was reading them and I wanted to know what they were talking about. But honestly, without giving away any serious spoliers, it just got a bit too sappy for me in the end, lol :p

But! OPI has made a pretty amazing nail polish collection inspired by the books and the up coming movie, so at least something great came out of it ;) I'm a huge fan of gray in general, and I love gray nail polish, but I have very few gray polishes, so I am very excited for this collection. The quality of all polishes is great as always, two coats were enough for full opacity for all, they dried quickly and shiny. These swatches are with two coats + top coat.

OPI - Cement The Deal, two coats + top coat.

 

Like I said in the video, I don't have much to say about the two lightest grays, I just love them! And love how they are cool toned, makes them look so elegant.

OPI - Embrace The Gray, two coats + top coat.

A little darker than Cement The Deal, but still cool toned and gorgeous.

OPI - Dark Side Of The Mood, two coats + top coat.

This is the darkest of the grays, and can you see in these close ups that it actually has a bit of shimmer in it? It's not just a dark gray creme polish, the shimmer makes it come alive on the nails. This is my favorite of the entire collection!

Don't you just love how dark gray is still edgy like black, just more sophisticated?

OPI - Shine For Me, two coats + top coat.

I know I called this a glitter polish, but I actually think I'd call it more of a silver polish filled with blue glitter. Anyway, it's amazing, opaque in just two coats and I have nothing like this in my collection.

 

It's so sparkly and shiny!

OPI - My Silk Tie, two coats + top coat.

This is my least favorite polish in the collection. In my opinion it's a pretty standard silver with lots of visible brush strokes. Not a fan... I've seen some people who love it though, so I guess it's just all about personal preference! But then again, isn't everything? ;)

 

OPI - Romantically Involved, two coats, no top coat!

I did these swatches without top coat to show you just how shiny these polishes are, isn't it gorgeous?

The thing about this one though, is that it looks much more red in the swatches than it does in real life. On my nails it actually looks almost like a dupe for OPI - Lost On Lombard. I did a comparison in the video, and as you can see they are pretty similar, only Romantically Involved is a little brighter. I still love it though, Lost On Lombard is one of my favorite red polishes, so I love this one as well :)
