Today I am pairing Shimmer - Eva with these beautiful pearl studs. These studs come in a set with three wheels, one with white pearly studs, one with cream colored pearl studs and one with silver and gold studs. All for $4.99, pretty good deal!

I like the combination of white pearls and this beaufiul red glitter, it's so christmasy! It sort of reminds of snow falling! Though, my bf thought it looked like gross insect eggs... LOL! What do you think?

I just pushed the studs into the wet top coat, but if you want to make it last longer you should add another layer of top coat over the studs.

I also noticed that on some of the studs the pearly finish had fallen off, you can see one of them on my ring finger, I didn't notice until it was on my nail and was too lazy to take it off and start over. So just look out for that before placing the studs! But by all means, doing this manicure I only discovered two studs where the finish had fallen off, so I wouldn't say it's a big problem.

  3. Maybe on a nude or light base it wouldn't look like insect eggs, tough I like the effect of them!
