I have been drooling over gorgeous quatrefoil designs for quite a while, and when I was completely stumped for inspiration today, I remembered quatrefoil and decided that today is as good a day as any!
I used Essie - Cashmere Bathrobe as my base, it is the most gorgeous grey polish with flecks of silver shimmer, looove! For the quatrefoil design I used OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
I didn't think I wanted the quatrefoil design on my nails, because I didn't think it would turn out as good as it did, lol :p So I did a glitter gradient using Cirque - XX on my index and thumb, which looks amazing over this dark gray.
I am loving how chic this turned out! Would you be interested in a tutorial? I am defenitely going to do quatrefoil designs again ;)
This is very elegant. I tried quatrefoil for the first time recently and was really pleased with the result. I realised it takes quite a bit of control to make the pattern consistent ... even though it is just lots of dots. Yours are very neat and I like the way you've used them as accent nails.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I like that quatrefoil design a lot.
ReplyDeleteGreat quarterfoils! They are time consuming but the end result is beautiful! Great manicure!
