Pink summer chevrons

I wanted to do some nail art with Shimmer Polish - Fanny! 

 

I started this with a coat of the most amazing silver nail polish ever! H&M - Silver, it's a tiny bottle, I don't know if it was a limited edition for christmas, but if it wasn't run to the nearest H&M and get yourself one! I will have to go check out mine to see if they still have it, I need multiple back ups...

When the silver polish was dry I placed striping tape in chevron shapes on my nails and painted a thick coat of Picture Polish - Fairy Floss, then in one of the triangles on each nail I painted a coat of Fanny over Fairy Floss. Some nails I freehanded Fanny in after I had removed the tape, and some nails I painted it before removing the tape. I was worried if I waited too long before applying Fanny the polish would dry too much and peel off with the tape. But it worked out ok.

I really like the result! I love the bright pink and sparkly glitter. With the AH-MAZING weather we have been having I've gotten a nice tan and this manicure makes me look even more tan ;) It feels like summer on my nails!
