Wow, looking at these photos make me sad! Lol, I miss my long nails! This winter has been rough on my nails, no matter how much cuticle oil, cuticle cream and base coats with treatments they have been peeling and breaking non stop! Usually I've been able to save the breaks with Orly Nail Rescue, but this time I had big breaks on my index and pinky while I was out and about and was not able to save them. So on to nubbins we go!
I decided to go for super short and try rounded nails for a change, I will be going back to squares asap though :p It does feel sort of refreshing having short nails though, almost like a new start! A new start for spring maybe?
I wanted to brigthen up my nails with a "springy" manicure and reached for one of my favorite mints, IsaDora - Pistachio. On my thumb and index I used Cirque - Magic Hour, which looked pretty cool over a bright color! On my middle I stamped using MoYou London - Fairytale Collecttion #2 and a gold stamping polish from Mundo de Uñas. I was planning on a stamping decal on my ring finger, but the clear polish I used did not work out, the decals first turned out too thin and then they never dried. So I gave up waiting and did a coat of Deborah Lippmann - Mermaid's Dream instead.
I am so excited to finally have a gold stamping polish! Check out their Facebook page if you want to check out Mundo de Uñas stamping polishes, so far I am really impressed!
This is such a beautiful mani! I love the combo of gold and minty green! Really love this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty mint manicure! I love it.
ReplyDeleteLove this colour combination! That gold stamping polish looks really, really good!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS!!! Especially the middle nail! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have the same problems with my nails, they broke very often, so I filed them off. But they grow back very fast.
ReplyDeleteI have to mention that I like your nails this way too, I think they look always pretty because the designs you make are making them unique!
So pretty!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty manicure! I have stubbies right now also. I console myself that it makes typing easier! The only real problem I have with shorties is when there is next to no free edge, and when you paint, the polish ends up on your skin tips past the nail. Oh well, hopefully they will grow past that so I won't have as much cleanup to do. lol, Just keep swatching!
ReplyDeleteWinter is a rough time for nails but yours look amazing even short :)
ReplyDeleteLovely manicure!
Oh, don't be sad! Just look how gorgeous your nails look! Fresh new starts bring about a lot of good and I love your rounded shape - think it suits you good (even if you prefere the square shape) ;)
ReplyDeleteThis skittlete is gorgeous! Love all the nails and that Debora Lippmann! Ahhhh :D
