When I did these nails back in August, a colleague of mine thought the middle nail looked like Batman and made a wish on the spot for me to do Batman nails for his birthday. Sadly I completely forgot when his birthday came around and decided to do them as a "christmas present" instead ;)
So on the first day back to work after New Years I had these nails done for him! Aren't they FUN?!
I painted a base with OPI - DS Pewter then I sponged on the yellow with acrylic paint and painted the batman logo using black acrylic paint. I was going to mattify it, but when I added a glossy top coat first to smooth it out, the black looked so deep I decided to leave it glossy.
All the time while doing these I was thinking of Sheldon Cooper...
