Oh how I have missed my blog and all of you my wonderful readers! <3 <3 <3
My nails have grown back to more or less regular nubbins instead of misshapen horrible nubbins. My index still needs to grow out a bit more, but it's good enough for me to share my nails again ;)
However, this hiatus came at a pretty good time. I have been incredibly busy at work, I'm an economist, and the year is coming to an end, pretty much the most stressful time of the year for us! And I don't know if you remember I mentioned a while back that I also run an online yarn shop, but it's been going pretty well lately and I've been swamped with work pretty much every night.
But I have been doing my nails as well, just not as often or as "perfect" as I would do for the blog. Last night I spent the entire night redoing these designs, and they are now scheduled to be published this week :)
Now, let's talk about todays manicure! I wanted something christmasy since it's pretty much right around the corner. And I've been eyeing these cool tape-christmas tree manicures everyone is doing, so of course this had to be my first christmas mani ;)
I started with a base of OPI - My Vampire Is Buff, I wanted a warmer look than a pure white would give, so this was perfect. Then I added dots to all fingers except the ring using OPI - I'm Not Really A Waitress (the most perfect christmas red), Cirque - Erda and Depend - 045. On my ring finger nail I taped off the tree design and painted it using Cirque - Erda, added some "ornaments" with OPI - INRAW and topped it off with a gold star stud :) And finally it was all sealed with a top coat.
Great to have you back!!

Very pretty design, well-done! Glad your nails are growing in nicely. I too just suffered a major break and am *ever-so-not-patiently* watching them grow... :)
