I am on vacation right now, spending some days in sunny Gran Canaria (pretty well deserved if you as me, lol), and for obvious reasons (busy tanning), I am not able to do nail art and blog! But while I'm away I decided to invite some of my favorite bloggers to do guest posts for me! So don't fret, while I'm away (getting fabulously tan) you will be able to feast your eyes on some amazing nail art!
To start off this guest blog fest we have the talented Ina from My Nail Polish Online, one of the first nail blogs I started following, and a great insipiration!

Hi! I'm Ina from My Nail Polish Online and I'm thrilled to be guest posting at one of my favorite nail polish bloggers, Lisa while she's away on vacation! I've always admired Lisa's style when it comes to nail art and photography. She is just amazing!
I tried to do something special for her, something that I haven't done before and I had a lot of ideas but non of them was so appealing as this feather manicure.
I started with two coats of China Glaze - Something Sweet and applied one coat of top coat to seal the color into place and to have a good ground for the watercolor technique that I continued with. With a larger nail art brush I added some diluted Essie Secret Story around the cuticles and the nail tip creating an darker edge for the manicure.
After applying another top coat I continued with the feathers using a very small nail art brush. For the feathers I used the beautiful blue Nfu-Oh MOR08 and did some strokes with Jade Twist. Jade Twist is a little bit sheer and that was perfect for adding a little bit of sparkle to this manicure without dominating the blue color of the feathers.
I hope you've enjoyed the manicure!
