Guest post: Cubbiful

Mina from Cubbiful must be one of the most creative out there in the nail art worl, she does fantastic freehand work and crazy (in a good way) manicures!

Her nails are always colorful and sporting some amazing nail art, and I love the way she writes her blog, very personal and makes you feel like you're talking to a good friend :)

Hello to all you lovelies out there! First and foremost, can I just confess I eeked pretty much like a teenage girl when I saw Lisa's email for this guest post? Thank you, Lisa!, your invitation does mean a lot and provides sweet, sweet motivation! :D

Polished Elegance, like the name straight away tells you, is a beacon of elegance and feminity! None of the crazyness I'm sometimes into, you'll find rather beautifully photographed gorgeous manis <3

Lisa's blog is pretty much where I seek inspiration when  Mum drops by asking me to do her manicure and says 'oh, but do nothing of your crazy ones - this week I need something work appropriate' Hahaha - Mothers!, aren't they adorable sometimes? ;)

So, trying to mantain Lisa's elegant style but with a bit of my passion for pretty colours (and seeing we had a rather sunny weekend when I was doing this one), this is what I came up with:

Polished Elegance - Guest post from Cubbiful - floral nail art manicure

I know it's not an Autumn-y manicure, at all, but seriously, the gorgeous sunshine is the one to blame  ;)

I'm sure you'll have to look very hard into my nails to figure it out, but I started with a gradient background to the flowers, using white, soft yellow and a nude pink.

I then picked up my nail art brush and freehanded the flowers using a mint acrylic paint (which was right there a mistake, seeing these babies were soooo hard to photograph!) combined with a white one.

I finished with some stems (?) to make for the flowers centre and topcoated it all!

I hope I've managed to make Polished Elegance some justice - thank you again, Lisa <3
Hope you've liked what you saw here: you can find me at Cubbiful and over on Facebook
Join the crazyness, I'll be happy to see you there ;)

Hugs & Kissies,

P.s: maybe with matte top coat the different shades would be more visible?
