Holo on holo stamping, failed...

China Glaze - When Stars Collide holo stamping nail polish

Today I pulled a new Lucky Dip, and the prompt was "China Glaze". I pulled out my seven China Glaze, and since four of them are holographic, I figured I'd try this Sunday Stamping Challenge "Over a holo base"!

I wanted to try stamping holo over holo, since I've seen so many people do a fantastic job with it! My attempt however, not so much, lol :p

I started with two coats of China Glaze - When Stars Collide, then I stamped using China Glaze - Galactic Gray. And as you can see, it's pretty much invisible! Lol!

I guess I chose the wrong colors for this... A strong silver holo would probably look much better! But I don't have one...

It still looks pretty though, even though the stamping is invisible, When Stars Collide is a very pretty polish :)

  1. I guess you're right, a stronger silver would have shown the stamping better. It still looks so lovely!

  2. What a gorgeous polish. I can see the slightest stamping, but more contrasting color would work better :)
