Base: Essie - Mint Candy Apple
Glitter: A-england - She Walks in Beauty and OPI - Pink Yet Lavender
The challenge for today in the 31DC is "Your favorite nail art technique". There are so many cool techniques, water marble, dotticures, freehand, stripes, my new love - one stroke, sran wrap ... and the list goes on and on. I was thinking about this for a while, what really is my favorite technique? I'm pretty new to the nail art game, so I'm not sure I've found my favorite yet really.
But then I figured, a glitter gradient! You can never go wrong with a glitter gradient, I love it! It's so versatile, it's easy to do, and looks really pretty. It's also the first nail art technique I tried, and the thing that made me fall in love with nail art.
So here you go! My favorite nail art technique (as of today anyway), a glitter gradient! I started with Essie - Mint Candy Apple as a fresh color for my base (gorgeous mint!), then I added a gradient using A-england - She Walks In Beauty. This is such a gorgeous glitter, I think it looks amazing with any polish. And to add a little extra bling, I dabbed a little OPI - Pink Yet Lavender on top.
I'm wondering if this might look cool mattified? I think I'll try that tomorrow! For now, I'm gonna enjoy the shiny sparklyness ;)
I love how this looks - actually I just love how you make anything and everything look so elegant. Your blog couldn't have been named any other way indeed! :D
