When the liquid sand polishes came my first thought was "Ew, textured polish?!". And it took more than a couple of blogs showing swatches before I started to think "Hm, this Get Yout Number polish is looking kinda nice". So, when the texture day of the 31DC was coming around, I decided to buy myselft my very first textured polish, OPI - Get Your Number.

This has all ended with me going from "Ew, textured polish!" to "OMG! This liquid sand thing is amazoing!"

I'm still not sold on textured polish, but I do like this particular liquid sand. The color is gorgeous and the glitter is soooo pretty! I know all bloggers say that it doesn't feel as gritty as they thought it would, however I thought it would still be too gritty for my liking, but no, it really wasn't!

I wanted to be creative and do some nail art with the polish, I haven't really seen many people do nail art with the liquid sands. Inspired by the Nailasaurus' fantastic manicures, I decided to do a tape-skittle!

Of course I had to try it with a top coat, so the next day I added two thick coats of Essie - Good To Go.

And the polish transformed to something even more fantastic! (Also my index finger transformed to broken)

It was hard to capture in photos, but the shiny top coat gave the polish a whole other dimension. Made it look all kinds of 3D glittery awesomeness.

Yes, I'm probably the last person trying textured polish, but better late than never, right? ;)
