Today's prompt for Golden Oldie Thursday is Valentines. I completely fell in love with Paulina's adorable Valentines nails, and decided to copy hers for this manicure :)
I started with a base of Essie - Limo-Scene, I needed three coats to get a decent coverage. Then I painted the tiny hearts using Essie - Bahelorette Bash, Cascade Cool and Castaway.
I really like the color of Limo-Scene, I just wish it was more opaque!
Oh, and yes, I broke my index, AGAIN. My middle and ring finger are also broken, but being held together with Orly nail repair. I can't wait for spring to come and my nails to stop breaking...
So cute! Love that the hearts are all different shades of pink too :)
ReplyDeleteSweetie, these are sooo cute! And I am so happy that you recreated my mani :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about breaking nails... Mine are breaking all the time and nothing is helping.. and those that aren't breaking are in such poor condition. Yay for Spring and I hope it will come soon :)
Love the mani! I really like the cascade of hearts. =)

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful recreation - what else, right? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I, too, sympathize with the whole breakage and splitting nail misadventures :(
Let this damned Winter be gone, I say! hehehe (gotta put some humour to help us get by ;))
This design is very gentle!!
