Pink Valentine

Just like last year I had no plans to do a Valentines manicure, but then I came across a nail art contest hosted by Nailpolis and decided to do one anyway! Please vote for me here!

My plan was to do the manicure, take the photos and take it off right away to do a new one. Try to come up to speed with my blogging schedule, get some posts scheduled. But then I ended up loving this manicure so much I did not want to take it off!

I started with a base of OPI - My Vampire Is Buff on all nails except my pinky where I did two coats of IsaDora - Pink Crush. On my thumb and index I taped off triangles and applied a coat of IsaDora - Pink Crush (when I started taking pictures I remembered I had plans to do a bit more with these fingers, but that's gonna have to be for some other time). I sponged a gradient using OPI - MVIB and OPI - Lucky Lucky Lavender, then I added a thin coat of the gorgeous glitter H&M - Pink and finished it off with a stamped image from MoYou London - Princess Collection 11.

The stamp did not come out very well, I think I was too slow for the thin lines of the design to stamp perfectly... Which is too bad, because it's a very cute design!

Ordinarily I would do the same design on my right hand as well, but because of lack of time (and sleep) I simply added a coat of Pink Crush. I love the textured polishes from IsaDora, I hope they will make more!

I have ended almost every paragraph in this post with an exclamation point!

Probably because I really like the girly look of this design!
